**A Warning About Hate**
I recently saw a conversation where a man started expressing frustration about Muslims. Within just a few minutes, his words went from criticism to suggesting they should all be rounded up and put on an island. He even sarcastically referenced the Nazi “Final Solution.”
This is what hate does.
In 1967, a high school teacher named Ron Jones conducted a famous experiment called **“The Third Wave.”** He wanted to show his students how ordinary Germans could have accepted the Nazis. In just **five days**, he turned a normal classroom into a disciplined, authoritarian movement. The students became fanatical, turned on each other, and eagerly followed their “leader” — all while believing they were doing something good.
That experiment proved how dangerously easy it is to manipulate people into hate and blind obedience.
If you find yourself beginning to hate any group of people — any group at all — recognize it early. That road has only one destination, and it’s an ugly one.
The time to stop that thinking is at the beginning, not when you’ve already arrived at the point of suggesting mass confinement or worse.
Hate is a poison. Turn it off before it turns you.
